Bodywork
P a i n - f r e e | P o s t u r e | P e r f o r m a n c e
You only have one body! Treat it well.
Structural bodywork is a hands on treatment to help free up and promote glide in the tissues that are impeding movement and posture.
When tissues don't glide you get pain, posture issues and performance is impacted. Performance ranges from day to day activities right up to higher performing athletes and everything in between.

Body work has increased in popularity in the last 30 years. Treatments such as Rolfing, Feldenkraise and even chiropractic are now mainstream.
I work with myofascial release following the anatomy trains model. This improves the function of the fascial system and aims to improve fundamental posture and movement which reduces pain and improves performance.
About Me
Since I was young I was always in fitness and movement particularly swimming and TaeKwonDo. Even on the days I didn’t want to go my parents would drag me there anyway which looking back I’m very grateful for. I think all that training at a young age helped me get a strong although subconscious understanding of movement. Since then I got into weightlifting (because as a teenage boy you gotta have big biceps) which eventually led me into personal training for about 7 years. In that time I started mixed martial arts and competing locally in MMA tournaments. As you can imagine my body copped a flogging but because I was young I could shrug it off and the pain would fix itself. In all these years I thought I was invincible but pretty soon I started noticing a lot of joint pains all over my body. I pushed through it as usual thinking they would go away and they never did!! Was this it? Is this what getting old is? It wasn’t until I met this new personal trainer at one of the gyms I worked at. He would always talk about fascia, posture and biomechanics. To be honest I thought it sounded a bit lame. One day he insisted I do a session with him. So I did.
Well!
For the first time in years I experienced my body with a lot less pain and better movement. I couldn’t believe it. I was hooked. Now I’m that guy who won’t shut up about fascia, posture and biomechanics. To say it’s changed my life is an understatement. I’ve been studying and practicing for 5 years now and I’m still blown away with how our bodies adapt. I’m even more excited about helping people over come the pains that hold them back from living their best lives
